Purchased a new Yamaha Viking side by side at Dewildt east of Peterborough with Mike . Very professional and easy process. When it came time for its first service Alison was able to arrange a pick up and drop off service with all work being done that day. Chris who was transporting my machine was friendly and great to deal with . Great dealership to use for all your power-sport needs.
Some of the worst service and communication I’ve ever had with a dealership . They did $3000 worth of work on my kids $4000 four wheeler this summer and the second I get it back it sounds terrible and now won’t reverse . So I take it back and they say it’s now a different part of the transmission . I’m told I’ll hear from the owner to see if he can may it right, then 4 months later I get a text to pick it up not fixed or ever calling to accept some faulty work and threatening a $75 a day storage fee if I don’t pick it up . Everyone’s preaching buy/shop local these days and I take a lot of pride in doing that but this was pathetic.
I recently had an exceptional experience at Dewilt Motorsports in Peterborough and had to share it. The entire team, especially the parts staff, is top-notch—knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely committed to great service. What truly set them apart was their willingness to go the extra mile. I was extremely impressed when they price matched my new tire and then managed to have it ordered and installed the very next day. That level of efficiency is hard to beat! But the real showstopper was the service when handling my large, heavy motorcycle. Without even being asked, the staff immediately jumped in to help me unload and load the bike, making a stressful task easy and safe. That proactive help speaks volumes about their customer focus. They sell faulty parts that they will not replace if broken. I have bought 3 throttle cables off them and all of them have snapped at the same spot. I finally tried to see if I could get a replacement one from them free as their part has failed 3 times. They will not under any circumstances help the customer out in anyways that's word for word what Christian said. He suggested I buy the part through them again and pay their labor fee to get it installed.
Repowered my 18'bow rider with new Honda Outboard. Paid a premium over a competitor due to positive reviews. What a disaster. They had boat over a month and continually missed due dates. No advice on proper prop selection other than I cant return it if it's wrong pitch. Then I get boat back with no gauges connected and wiring left hanging everywhere. Throttle and Shift cable routed on the outside - fully exposed vs inside the gunwale. They have had staffing issues but that's no excuse for this sad level of customer service.
Their Customer service is severely lacking. Been dealing on a warranty issue for 10 months on a purchase of a new fishing boat. Am hoping it's resolved this week
Bought my gf's Honda from here. Service was great. They have a lot of bikes in stock but we had to bring ours in from a different location. Came in a couple days late but just in time for the weekend as promised. We were happy. I'll be buying a few more toys off them. Update, I've been dealing with dewildt peterborough for a few years now. My wife has had a couple bikes from dewildt and I now have bought a couple myself from them. I don't go anywhere else. Service is amazing! They always get me fixed and on my way with what ever I need quickly. Parts often show up way before expected at times and they're very knowledgeable. They've also sold many toys to friends of mine and everyone's very happy. Can't ask for more!
