What a beautiful library by the government - the building is brand new and is located at downtown Peterborough.Got a lovely selection of books and DVD's - all free if you register.Registration is free for residents.They also have a whole floor and section for the kids with toys and everything to keep them busy.We love spending time here when we can- WiFi and internet are free.The only thing you pay for is printing which is really reasonable.You could spend hours in here if you wish too and the staff are excellent - friendly and helpful.Parking your vehicle is a breeze as there is plenty of parking.A really good initiative by the government.
We love the new renovations. The kids section is wonderful. The whole library is full of natural light
Love the library have tried to give that appreciation to my kids as well.
Staff at the library are either fantastic, helpful, polite & welcoming or they are rude and unhelpful.These staff need lessons in customer service - lenders don't need the 3rd degree when renewing their card (who even knew library cards expired?!). Staff piling returns on the counter don't need to virtually shove lenders out of their way so that they may complete a task - the older lady working the returns needs to be reminded that customers come first ALWAYS.
The renovation to the library outdid itself! Other than the building being immaculate, the selection of books and resources are vast and resourceful! If you aren't a member yet I think you should sign up for the library! You can also obtain ebooks and audiobooks from their online resources, but you have to sign up first!
