Most staff are super friendly, courteous and on time to meet the other busses at the terminal. I've noticed they know and remember names of regular traveller with disabilities. To me that shows a level of kindness not often seen anymore.

I have found all but one of the drivers to be helpful, respectful and courteous. And the office staff are EXTREMELY HELPFUL.Not sure what bug got caught in that other reviewer's butt. He probably complains about everything in his poor, lonely life.
I have seen drunk drivers who were able to control their vehicles better. They are constantly late. They take zero responsibility for any issue they cause and their drivers are more worried about waving hi to friends on the road instead of paying attention to their passengers and assuring they are safe. I have heard more than one use racist comments, I have seen them drive by stops without picking up passengers, selectively pass up late comers at the station while stopping for others and today watched one of the drivers knock a girl to the ground trying to put out their ramp becuase they were too busy talking to make sure the bus was empty, or to at least warn her they were putting the ramp out. Complete idiocy. This transit system only exists because there is no other option. City needs to stop spending more and more money on such a horrible service.
I boarded a Monaghan bus at eight forty p.m. to listen to the driver on his cell phone yelling load enough to cause me concern where I was sitting at the back of the bus. He was screaming at someone asking them "Oh you love him do you...well I know just where you live"I actually turned to another passenger and asked if that was the bus driver...he continued with his rant.When we pulled out of the terminal he almost ran over two people who were trying to flag him down from the sidewalk. He swore and continued on his way while they jumped back.I then heard him call in to the dispatch and say that two people almost jumped in front of him.He was angry and swore at those two who jumped back and when I told him that it was inappropriate for him to almost run people over because of a phone call that made him angry he yelled at me and told me that his phone calls were none of my business and I had better stay out of his...I asked him to stop yelling at me and told him he made it my business when I was sitting at the back of the bus listening to him scream into his cell phone. He continued to scream at me about staying out of his business. I explained he made it mine at the back of the bus and every other passengers too.When I got off the bus I told him he had a great job and he should work on keeping it.We should feel and be safe on the bus. Volatile people should not be in charge of public safety of Peterborough passengers and behind the wheel of huge busses.I am going to follow this through to the reeve and police if I have to until I am satisfied this matter has been addressed appropriately.I would rather have walked than be scared of my own bus driver....wow. I rated the service with one star only because I couldn't post in the negative digits.We all should be safe on Peterborough Transit and not at the whims of an unstable volatile driver
