How can a business run when they’re never open. Fix your open and close times if you’re never gonna follow them, genuinely ridiculous that you can’t follow the hours for your store that you set up
Awesome store with lots of cool items! My bf found something that he has been looking for, for a very long time. It was a great price too! The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable as well!! We will definitely be back again next time we are up in that area!
Been IN the store once and bought an action figure, was amazing service and awsome in there but the 3 other times I went to go to thr store it was closed.
Fun place in Peterborough. The guy who owns the store is super nice and knowledgeable. Always find interesting items there. Pricing varies depending on item and rarity. Pricing seems very fair to me.
If I could give half a star I would! Everytime I went into the store the guy is either pushy on me trying to sell stuff I'm not interested in, doesn't actually let me look around and take my time, i. Always feel rush. or is in a shitty mood. Like my father owned a hobby and collectibles store for over 20yrs. So it's easy to pick up and know what customer service is. But honestly I've tried numerous times to shop at Moms Basement over the yrs. And I can't do it anymore. It was so much better when his Ex wife used to work there. I feel I always went in there more when she was there, I even bought more stuff from them back then. And I kid you not, I went there a few times to try to sell some old vintage collectibles stuff I knew that was worth something. And popular at the times. Yet I would get turned away. And litterly twice out of three times I went back and saw he had the same stuff I tried to sell for sale on the floor. And when I was trying to sell he didn't have those items in stock. Coincidence I think not. I'm honestly surprised the store is still there, especially as most cases when it's supposed to be open, it's not....
A really damn cool store. Not many like it that I’ve ever encountered. Had a little bit of everything and was a joy just to walk around and look. Like a history museum of collectibles. Some items that I saw that I did not expect were some NECA TMNT, Bandai Gundam figs and Godzilla stuff. Legit insane amount of toys and if I lived closer by, I’d definitely be a regular. RUN to check this store out!
great interesting store! there is so much to look at and the owner is a friendly guy, and very approachable. I walked out with $80 worth of vintage hot wheels in quite good condition for my husband, including some car hauler transport ones ive never seen before! he was super stoked to have these added to his collection. definitely worth checking out if you walking the store on Charlotte St!
