An absolutely amazing cute little store with all of the weird Curiosities and collectibles that you could ever think of. Geoff Miller the owner is a lovely and knowledgeable retailer of the obscure. If you're anywhere near the Peterborough area don't forget to make time to stop and check out his lovely shop of curated Curiosities at a special level of kindness you don't find many places anymore.
The owner at This and That Redux is a super chill guy and was prepared to jump in with suggestions and insight into what they have available. There is a room in the back that is completely dedicated to Star Wars and it was super impressive, especially considering I’m not a Star Wars fan. The decor and themed merchandise they had was amazing, it was like walking through an art installation at a museum! They offer vintage cameras and videography equipment, tons of records, and other vintage items that are interesting to look through. While we didn’t find much to purchase, my friends and I enjoyed walking through and browsing the shelves. There was so much to discover. For the average person, there may not be much to purchase aside from records, although that doesn’t seem to be the target demographic here, either! The space is definitely small and my two friends and I needed to back up and out of aisles a few times to navigate a path, but overall, there was only one other person visiting at the time and was totally manageable. For the lovers of all things vintage, collectors, and the curious passerby, this is definitely a place to stop in and check out!
Geoff at This and That Redux has been awesome to deal with. He's provided a lot of education on products that I've brought in, advice on restorations and about his own stock. He has a passion for what he does and I look forward to doing continued business with them in the future. The absolute gems in this store are amazing, especially when it comes to the Star Wars collection ? Full out a 5 star company
Really cool stuff but um. Everything I asked about " wasn't for sale"?? I asked how much a few things were and everything I asked about he said " Oh its not for sale." And " oh It's a decorative piece"... Okay... Won't be back. Why have it out if you're not selling it?
