Great place to be! If you want to lift weights, make friends, and get results I recommend 24/7! With new ownership the gym has really improved the overall look and feel! They also have great staff, who are very knowledgeable and friendly! There's tons of space and equipment sure to suit your type of physical activity. Also many of the people there are willing to give some advice if they see that you're trying something new, so don't be afraid to ask for help. Some advice though, if you aren't used to loud noises bring earphones; It can also get intense after 5 PM, so it's better to arrive earlier than later.
I've been going since late May and have enjoyed my time there. I got 4 times a week and I can do all my desired exercises. It has a combination of older (more pratical) and newer machines that provide the tools for a fantastic workout. I have been working out consistently for 2.5 years and honestly, this is my favorite gym yet! Don't let the basement location fool you, I can do my OHPs and pull ups easily (while being a 6'3 male). Special thanks to RJ Kayser for teaching me some new techniques and correcting my form and Josh Chessman who gave me a 1-min body assessment when I had an injury earlier today. Overall: Cheap, good equipment, not too crowded, and very friendly staff who are quite knowledgable (and willing to help). I would go, no BS. -Phil
This is where you go if you want a gym with no B.S. and no gimmicks. Come in, work hard, meet some cool people, join the family. Great environment that encourages heavy music, heavy lifting, and heavy fun.
Amazing atmosphere, Awesome staff, and a cheerful place to be. Being greeted every morning by name is what gives my daily routine a great start. This place truly makes you feel at home, and amongst family.
Love the gym, the staff is friendly. There's the freedom of 24/7 for anyone's busy schedule. However, parking downtown can be tricky sometimes. Additionally, 95% of the time I go, someone is always obnociously blaring music. I have to crank my music really high to combat this. Rather unhappy with this aspect.
