Today was my first time doing laundry at the Eco. I thought I would check it out because it is closer to my house then the Wash O Matt but after today's experience I will definitely be going back to the Wash O Mat. The area is really sketchy and there is no attendant! There was some weird sign on the washroom door and it was locked. There was some random homeless guy sleeping on the floor. The place was dirty. There's hookers and weird people hanging around the place who aren't even doing laundry and when I called the number to complain there was no answer. I also sent an email of complaint. I didn't have any trouble with the washer or dryer or the change machine today but it really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Machines are always broken. Change machine eats your money. The soap dispensers don't work. And its unsupervised so there are always issues with people going in there and causing problems. It sucks. I recommend washomat on park hill a little more expensive but everything works and it has an attendant.

Prices are okay. Starts at $3.25 for a smaller load. I don't use the dryers so no comment there. Maintenance, however... There will usually be 3 or 4 machines (washers and dryers) out of service. Now that on its own wouldn't be too concerning. It's an unsupervised location and people can be jerks. However, other machines have really irritating "quirks" like refusing to take loonies or quarters among other things. There's a fan that's been half disconnected from the ceiling for months.Parking is also very limited and shale gravel, so it's very messy when it's wet. Not a good feature when you're trying to open your car with a heavy hamper of laundry...

Machines eat your money. The best they can do is mail you a check if this happens. There is no on-site help, and machine issues happen very often. Will not be going back.

This place sounds so much better online than it is! It certainly is not an "eco" laundry room anymore- so don't be fooled. There is no lounge space, no bathrooms, no attendant to help you out, no eco-friendly detergents, no solar panels. The change machine available is more often than not out of quarters, which is really inconvenient because some of the machines only accept quarters! Right now 5 machines are out-of-order, and probably more should have that sign on them because they do a very poor job at cleaning and "eat" your money. I swear every time I'm in here, there is another person with a new complaint. I do appreciate the free wifi and the location but it is seriously a disappointing spot.
