Nice location. Very clean. Good breakfast included had more items than I have ever seen. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We had a room on the river side of the hotel, with a small deck off the patio door. Very nice, shaded, read for a bit out there! The room was squeaky clean, internet was FAST. I have never checked into (or out) of a room so quickly, that was appreciated. I can't say enough here to describe the place, even the complimentary breakfast was very good! I'll be back as soon as I can be!!
Great place to stay. Breakfast was good. Staff was excellent. The only problem we had was noise from the soccer team this time.
I had never stayed in this particular BW before, but it could quite easily become a favorite. Accessible to a wonderful degree, it has at least 6 elevators, I think. Quirky, built around parking courtyards and on different elevations, you might actually need the map given on check-in! Our room faced the named river, Otonabee with green lawns and huge trees, gazebos with chairs beckoning you to come, sit here. It had a quiet, calm feeling, almost soundless and away from the city. Lovely.The hotel was 3 rooms shy of full when we checked in but even so, breakfast was flawless, no long wait for a table or fresh coffee or more sausage. Served on real tableware with real cutlery and a cup with a saucer for your coffee - attention to detail was everywhere. I have no pics! I'll have to go back !
Super comfortable beds, real cotton sheets, awesome pillows, no cleaning chemicals or air freshener stink in the room, great breakfast (they actually know how to make scrambled eggs right!), and to top it off, backs right onto the river with a peaceful green oasis, feels like being at the cottage rather than in the middle of a city. After enduring five horrible nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Moncton, this was the first good sleep I had in almost a week, the air conditioner was whisper-quiet the way it should be! Has a fitness room, pool and hot tub, and the staff are the friendliest and most helpful imaginable. I absolutely love this place, having been at plenty of other hotels that are nowhere near as good. This is my third time staying at this hotel and from now on I'm going to go out of my way to stay here even though it's only 2 hours from my home, and I'm still totally thrilled I decided to stop here on my way from Toronto rather than push the rest of the way home. Top marks all the way!
