This place was surprisingly super nice! They have huge soccer fields you can play games on, volleyball courts to spare, an out door gym, a lovely beach (one dog friendly and one not so), and they rent canoes so you can travel through all of the connect rivers or the creek down there. It was super cool!
Great location right in Peterborough! Connection to waking/cycling paths, beach, swimming, beach volleyball, soccer fields, boat launch, etc. Nice place to get away in the middle of the city. Beach faces the afternoon sun, so it's great for swimming and/or relaxing on the beach. There always seems to be lots going on here but have never had trouble finding a spot on the beach. There is an accessible walkway to the beach and right into the water.
Great park with helpful staff.Nice sites along the river with water and electrical hookup.I would recommend booking early and requesting a site along the river because this place books up quick.Lots to do in Peterborough and we will visit again and book with Beavermead.If you need some great site #'s let me know.
Camp sites leave something to be desired...... they are very unselculeded from your fellow campers and anyone off the street can walk through your site.....for the price there are better options. The park itself if amazing
Great camping for the location. Sites are a little on the small side. Beach is next to to camp grounds. Local park is there as well. Walking and biking trails are there. Facilities needs a renovating.
