Had a wonderful stay at the Peterborough Holiday Inn Waterfront! My husband and I were in town to attend a wedding as well as celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary. We were in a lovely room that overlooked the water as well as the outdoor pool. The view was amazing! Upon our arrival we received a special treat as we had mentioned it was our anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. We highly recommend this hotel if you are in town!
Love this hotel. The river view is a must. This hotel has recently completed a full renovation. The rooms have been modernized and refreshed. The restaurant offers full breakfast and great food.The pool is the best. Both indoor/outdoor salted pool, just swim under the glass. The pool area also has a deep hot tub.This is a nice friendly hotel. Great for a weekend or romantic getaway.
The location was great with Tim Horton's right across the street. Great food and atmosphere on the patio with a view of the river. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bathroom was small. Because of the thin walls you could hear everything including dogs barking, the tv in the room next door, and people talking in the hallway. There is also only 1 elevator so anyone with mobility issues should request a room on the first floor.
Decent hotel, but they are ripoff artists in little ways. No microwaves provided but they will let you rent one for 15$ a night. Classic move rather that providing one in a common area for people to use. Common signs of a tourist trap hotel are high rates and a poor level of room amenities provided.This place fits the bill........
Attended a dance competition which required us to stay the weekend. This hotel is clean and recently renovated. It has a decent view of the water. Bonus there is a timmy's across the street as well as a convenience store. It's close to the downtown core. If you're feeling adventurous there is an amazing Caribbean restaurant up the road called Caribbean sizzle.
