The young girl working last Sunday sept 28 at Pet Valu on Lansdowne in Peterborough was absolutely exceptional. I came in without an appointment for a nail trim, and she happily accommodated me while still assisting other customers. She was so gentle and fantastic with my dog, did a great job with her nails, and her customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend this store!
Bought a bag of high dollar food and was told if they do not like it, I can bring it back. Only had it two days. The girl did not give me a receipt, or ask for my number unfortunately, so I was told sorry about your luck. I think it is the employee who should make sure my purchase is probably recorded. Anyway called the pet valu across town, who I did not buy it from, but he is helping me no questions ask. I work right beside the pet valu on Lansdowne and thought it would be handy to feed my 7 dogs, but I guess I am going to the other store.
Knowledgeable staff! Being a first time dog owner can be challenging! Lindsay is so friendly and had some really good suggestions when asking about dog treats and toys! Thanks so much Lindsay you made my day!
I have a reactive dog that I often take here to do socialization and shopping, it’s quieter then pet smart with a very large selection, the staff are often knowledgeable and amazing with my reactive dog, respecting her badges of “no talk, no touch, no eye contact” often tossing her a treat or two! They have always made it such a great experience for us, I will drive past 5 pet stores, just to come to this one because the staff are amazing! ? Keep it up!
We have shopped here for our pets for a while now but more recently we went in looking for help buying new food for one of our cats that is dealing with a urinary tract infection. The employee (I didn’t catch her name) was extremely knowledgeable on almost everything we asked, and on things we didn’t yet know to ask. She was honest in her recommendations and provided us with all of the information we needed, as well as asking for us to keep her updated on our cat. She was a really great ending to a stressful time for us in our cat’s health and we will not hesitate to continue going to this location for her help. Thank you!

Aaron is amazing, always have a nice conversation with him when I am in. Entrance is not wheelchair accessible as the door is not powered and there is no power button.
